Diamond Tetras

Hello there =)

Welcome to my newest (potential) series I’ve embarked on, SC Sunday Snap.  Our very own Two Uses Tuesday co-host Stella Lee participates in a link up each Sunday showcasing the photography of others.

Join me as I hone in on my photography skills and share a snap or two =)  It’ll be a lot of fish and pups for a bit… I promise to add some variety once I don’t freeze outside.  Enjoy!

  1. Great photo, it looks like a beautiful tank

    Thank you for linking up

    1. Thanks! I’m so glad I found your link up. It’s forcing me to learn how to use my camera to get those nice shots.

  2. Fish are so hard to get! This is a lovely shot and at such a slow shutter speed I don’t think I would have been able to capture tetra’s. We had some neons and they can move!

    1. Thank you! I’m amazed myself. I think the fish actually held still. I tried a faster speed (I think) but the lighting got all thrown off… so I’m not doing something right.

  3. Aquariums are so hard to photograph! or maybe its just me =P

This one is an amazing capture as its so clear! #mysundayphoto

    1. Thanks =) and little they are not, well by my standards. It’s hard to see but they started off the size of that little orange fish in the background, about a half inch. They now range from 2-3 inches in length

  4. Wow great shot. I definitely need to learn how to use my camera more to be able to do this!

Thanks for linking up to Marvelous Monday on Smart Party Planning.

  5. Beautiful photo of these strikingly beautiful fish! Thanks for sharing at Together on Tuesdays :)

    1. Thanks Lisa =) They turned out to grow a few inches larger than I thought they would but they are the sparkle in my tank.
