My Favorite Stamps

52 Lists 2015

Hello there =)

Welcome to List 2 of the 52 Lists series. This week gave me a reason to pull out the crafts and have some fun =)  I have a large-ish collection of rubber stamps, wood block and clear rubber varieties, but rarely use them let alone my favorites.  I tend to like the stamps with text versus pictures.  How often do you get to use those…?

Initially I had planned on making and selling greeting cards but stamp companies have lots of rules about that.  Did you know that?  Applications, limits on printing among other things.  It was too much for me.

Still, my collection grows every time I go into a craft store.  I can’t resist $1 stamps in the bargain bin… I gotta do something with them, why not a favorites list?  Let’s take a peek =)

Best. Stamp. Ever. If your dog doesn’t like somebody maybe you shouldn’t either.  An Inkadinkado stamp by Kate Harper that speaks the truth.

Balancing Ballerinas.  I made a number of greeting cards with these little cuties by Stampabilities years ago.  I think my favorite part about them is coloring in the tutus.

Un-caged. Simple and sweet birdie free from her cage.  Kate & Co by Studio G (Michaels craft stores) brings us this small treasure.

True Love.  You make me smile all over my face.  Another Kate Harper/Inkadinkado stamp… I should probably just invest in her stuff.

Grade School.  Check one: yes, no, maybe so.

You’re only as old as you feel.  How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?  OK, I have a thing for Inkadinkado stamps too… This was one of my first stamps (along with the next one) that I purchased.  Thank you Dawn Houser for this one.

Yum.  Maybe a cupcake will help?  Of course it will!  An Amy Smith creation for you guessed it ;)

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my favorite stamps.  Be sure to check out The List of Lists, updated weekly, to keep up on my #52Lists2015 and find some ideas for your own!
