My Well With Water Expectations

Hello there =)

I saw a before & after photos on Facebook one day of a woman who drank a gallon of water a day for one month. The results were AMAZING! Less wrinkles. More youthful appearance. Stunning.  It was that picture that inspired me to do start the Well With Water 30 Day Challenge.

Now, let’s be real here… a gallon? That is WAY too much!  I have to pee just thinking about it. There had to be something more reasonable.

At the beginning of the month, I set my goal based on what I drank on a good water consumption day and doubled it.  I have been doing well getting 40 to 60 ounces of water a day.  Adding apples and cinnamon to my water helped suck it down for a few days.  I’ve moved on to adding lemons now.

But why Sarah? Why are you drinking all this water?

Remember that photo I told you I saw? I wish I had saved it or the link to the article… It inspired me.  Not that I think I need to look more youthful or have wrinkles I can’t live with but skin is my reason.

My Well With Water Expectations

The past few years my face has been like a 15 year old boys; greasy and welty pimples when you least want them.  I’m hoping that drinking more water will clear things up from within.  So far (2 weeks in) my skin is the same.  However, a dermatologist told me it takes skin 2 months to cycle through whatever condition it may be in.  I’ll keep at it.

I’m also hoping that chugging good old fashioned water I’ll eat less.  Who doesn’t want to lose a few pounds?

Clearer skin and smaller waist line.  Easiest enough =)

  1. I think this may be something I want to do! I’m trying so hard lately to drink more water myself. Adding some lemon juice to it makes it a lot easier….so far. :) Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. I’ve been doing ok with this challenge, but I’m definitely drinking way more water than I used to.
