I am in charge of how I feel today & today I am choosing happiness!
When you feel like you’re losing your grip on life, hold on to this… You can always control how you feel. Media and people can influence how you feel but in the end they have no say.
But you need to have a plan, because I know it’s easier said than done sometimes (choosing to be happy).
Tomorrow can start happy by prepping tonight. This is our first line of defense. Start right, start strong. Lay out your clothes for work. Set the coffee up on delay brew. Plan on eating breakfast.
When you wake up, smile. I’m sure there’s some science proving it makes you happier ;) Actually eat breakfast. Most important meal ya’ know!
Ok. We’ve got this. There’s a bounce in our step and a smile on our face. Then life starts: work, traffic, people, etc. Sorry, I can’t give you a step by step on how to handle them and stay happy. This is part two of our plan.
Keep some happy on you.
What makes you happy? A picture of a loved one, your journal, a piece of jewelry. Your happy can be a Monday Motivation. Take it out. Let that happiness wash over you.
And if that doesn’t work, tell the thing making you cranky to go fly a kite. That might help ;)
